Fact-

America wants change and needs change but the people are too afraid of the unknown. Many refuse to accept anything different due to their own misguided knowledge. America has become a country of “let someone else do it” when it comes down to finding facts about anyone or anything. Abraham Lincoln spoke on this before "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time." The public sure made it easy in the twenty first century to be fooled. The many enjoy not knowing what fact is from what they are told. How many people want to do research for themselves compared to getting information from what the TV and internet will tell them?

Fear-

It is well know that man fears the unknown yet they rather not talk much about something like climate changes because it is too scary. The fear of having a woman in charge is very relevant in many men who believe that they are more rational then emotional. So they build up a scary looking figure of a “menopausal monster” who is lashing out on the public when her time in the month comes around. Race comes into play when positions of power are being discussed. The fear of a black revolt or a Bobby Kennedy like white man might give them the power they crave then where will we be? If you fear Muslims would vote for a guy who’s middle name is Hussein? Fear caters to those who are ignorant and divides the people.

Faith-

The most important thing people like Christopher Columbus, Benjamin Franklyn, and the pilgrims had is faith. Discarding the entire nay Sayers who tried to install fear with misguided facts of the time, they persevered to achieve a beneficial goal. They had faith in themselves and in their purpose. We are now looking to see who has faith in the right religion not in purpose or higher power. With all the different beliefs in America why are people still trying to figure out what denomination is America’s denomination? Can’t we all just have faith in a free world where we all can practice our faith without judgment form our neighbors?

My thoughts-

As an immigrant the picture I had of America always been as the land of opportunity. America to me is a land where you are treated fairly according to your hard work and intelligence. I pledged my allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America since kindergarten until 12th grade every morning with pure conviction in every word I recited. The main point I like the most is “one nation under God indivisible with justice for all”.

Divisive polling like this is one thing that is hurting the progress we have in America. Yahoo should really think before they put out articles and polls like this. Many of my friends who happen to be black are now say “If the republicans screwed a white guy like Al Gore what makes you think that they won’t do it to a black man”.

“Gun sales have risen by 25% amongst whites ever since Barak Obama won the democratic caucuses, in fear of a Black takeover in America”.

This is a shame that the “boogieman effect” is the reason people are buying guns. The conservative views of Texans like Chuck Norris who said “That guy is not ready to lead I don’t consider him the right guy to be president”. Never once did he say anything about Obama’s views he is just ready to take action in order to preserve right wing conservative views. Matt Damon is scared of Sarah Palin being in charge if an unfortunate turn of events makes McCain unable to be the commander in chief. Beauty of America the Freedom of Speech got to love it! The games of lies and deceit are in play slander will be viewed the rest of the way. Now is the time for us the people to really view the issues and demand debates on the issues from both camps we the people elect our president we are in charge not the other way around. This is a democracy let’s not look at race, let’s not look at Gender, Let’s not look at age, and most definitely let’s not look at the negativity being said about the other. We must (an absolute must) look at were our finances are right now, our comfort level for our children’s education, and the changes in climate on the earth we live on because it does matter we have no other planet to move to. Which candidate really wants to bring money to your pockets in a well paying job? No just a job in which you will be living check to check and are basically a drone stuck in the system. Which candidate really wants to bring you the clean and efficient fuel source that won’t hurt our climate and possibly limit the harsh weather changes and future disasters that can be avoided? Therefore eliminating our dependency on foreign oil and create new well paying jobs in America. Which candidate wants to reward educators who are ensuing our future by effectively educate our children and providing an opportunity for the less fortunate? We must remember we are the land of opportunity who will give and opportunity when some feel as if everything is fine the way it is? Issues are what is important not the trivial, To make history you must have a cause and issue in need of change. Having an ambition to be the first of my kind in history will make you loose focus on what is important.

 

 

 

This is the fun loving VP nominee that can be the next in line to lead the free world. I am all for it guns and the American flag goes together like peanut butter and jelly. This is Americas’ image in the worlds view lately. People really think we like fighting wars and sex as if we do not have any morals anymore. The only way we can change that image is to fight more wars and slap some more oil rich countries around. The only thing is we can’t use that “weapon of mass destruction” excuse anymore we need something else. So I really hope the McCain Palin ticket can give us the leader ship that we sorely need since “Obama is so not ready to lead”. I am sure while McCain is keep the same decisions of past Republican in power The beauty queen will keep us all standing at attention (no pun intended). God Bless America !
