 Combat Swine Flu

Combat Swine Flu With Biblical Essential Oilsby Rebecca Park Totilo
(Read through for tips, how-tos, and which ones are antiviral)
Modern science has proven that many of the essential oils mentioned in the Bible contain immune-stimulating and antimicrobial compounds that can be beneficial to man. And, because of their complex chemistry in which God created them, this makes it very difficult for viruses and bacteria to mutate and acquire resistance to them. Many have been proven to be more effective than even antibiotics.

Interestingly, even Tamiflu - the now infamous prescribed medication for treating the H5N1 Bird Flu, is made from the extract of Chinese Star of Anise (eight horns). Shikimic acid is extracted from the pods (which wraps the seeds) of the star anise and is the starting material of Tamiflu (Roche Laboratories), an antiviral drug. This particular drug is being offered to patients for the Swine Flu, however, is not effective since this virus has mutated so quickly. In addition to being highly contagious, by the time scientists have formulated a vaccine to treat one strain of this virus; it could have morphed into a hybrid.Unfortunately, this major problem stems from drug companies producing antibiotics in such mass quantities (all bearing the same resemblance), that bacteria and viruses have built up a resistance and mutated into superbugs.

Fortunately, God has provided us with an answer: essential oils. Essentials oils are extracted from the leaves, stems and seeds of aromatic plants, and are in fact, the essence or life-blood of the plant. Each essential oil is unique like a fine wine, and will vary depending on the climate, soil, sunlight and water in which they are grown. Think about this: one essential oil can have anywhere from 200 to 800 chemical constituents. If a virus or bacteria mutates or becomes resistant to one component, another constituent jumps in and stops the bug's progression. That old saying still holds true, "You can't fool mother nature!"

Essential oils have been effective in combating superbugs and stopping plagues for millenniums. In biblical times, the Lord told Moses to stop the plague that had broken out by taking fire and placing it upon the incense containing aromatics and to quickly run through the camp. During the 15th century, a band of thieves robbed jewels off of dead bodies that had died from the bubonic plague. Even while the disease was highly contagious none of the robbers grew sick or died, because they protected themselves by wearing essential oils.

In this complex high-tech pandemic, it would do us a world of good to step back and reread God's original prescription for mankind. Ezekiel 47:12, says God gave us "the leaf thereof for medicine" and in Revelation 22:2 it reads, "and the leaves of the trees were for the healing of the nations."

Here are some easy ways for you to use essential oils to protect yourself and your family from the Swine Flu (H1N1).

1. Everyone knows washing your hands is the first line of defense to staying healthy; however, antibacterial soaps which we all use will not be effective against viruses. By adding essential oils that are rich in monoterpenes with anti-viral constituents such as cypress or hyssop to your liquid non-scented soap, you can help stop the spread of this pandemic. Victorie, Inc., an online aromatherapy business based in Washington suggests adding 50 - 60 drops of essential oil (or a blend of oils) per 8 oz. of liquid soap. Be sure and check the essential oil's safety precautions for skin sensitivity before using.

2. Diffusing essential oils is another important step in reducing airborne pathogens and the spread of flu. Add 5-10 drops of an essential oil such as cinnamon or cassia to pan of water on the stovetop or add to a diffuser. If you have a cool mist vaporizer, you may want to add a few drops of essential oils. Diffuse twice a day for 15-20 minutes to purify the air.

3. If you have a pocket size diffuser for inhalation, add 1-2 drops of an essential oil of your favorite fragrance such as Rose of Sharon or Myrrh. For those who don't have a diffuser, you can add a couple of drops of essential oil on a tissue or a face mask to inhale. Fragrances you may want to include: Cassia, Cinnamon, Hyssop, Cypress, Frankincense, Myrrh, Tea Tree and Galbanum.

4. For disinfecting, purchase an empty 8 oz. spray bottle (plastic will work, but over time may erode due to the oil) and add 60 drops of an essential oil such as Lemon or Tea Tree and/or an essential oil blend. Fill the remainder of the bottle with distilled water. Again, check the safety rating for your oils in my book, "Heal with Oil."

5. If you have multiple empty spray bottles, you may want to create a "linen spray" by adding several drops of your favorite essential oil such as Cedarwood, Lavender, or Spikenard to distilled water and spritz your bed linens and pillow for a good night's sleep.

6. As a mouthwash, add a drop of cassia, clove, myrrh, and/or lemon to water and gargle. If you feel a chill or feverish, do this immediately.

7. To strengthen the immunity system, apply 1-3 drops of Frankincense essential oil to each foot at bedtime.

Here is a list of essential oils that are known for their antiviral properties:
Basil
Cinnamon Bark
Clove
Eucalyptus
Galbanum
Hyssop
Jasmine
Marjoram
Tea Tree (Melaleuca)
Melissa
Mountain Savory
Myrrh
Oregano
Peppermint
Pine
Mountain Savory
Patchouli
Raven
Rosemary
Sage
Rosewood
Tarragon
Thyme
Idaho Tansy

Please share this information with all your friends and family members. Anoint your doorposts with Hyssop and plead the blood of the Lamb. Begin to diffuse your oils twice a day now. Anoint yourself before leaving your house and remember Yahweh is with you! If you have any questions, please email or visit our website http://HealWithOil.com. We love you and are praying for you all! We will be traveling full-time on the road, preparing His people. Please keep us in your prayers!

Becareful what you pray for you might get to much of it.

I really think God is having a good laugh with me right now. For the longest time now,I've been praying for a good woman to come in to my life and make an honest man out of me. Guess what? I recieve my blessing in abundance. There are three women with the same personalities that I am compatible with who are showing intreset in me. I can't decide who to choose. So I did the test just like Abraham's servant when he went looking for a wife for Issac. (Book of genesis chapter 24 verse 12) I tested them by writing three similar poems and gave them a multiple choice answer of A,B,or C. They all passed the test I set in front of them. I then asked each of them if they would be will to pursue a romantic relationship with me they all said yes.Hot Dog! what am I to do?

 F.Y.E. - A story of a strange event ( give me a title please)

Scene- A murky day at the park a lady dressed in black is sitting on a bench feeding the ducks in the pond close by. With teary eyes she sits alone looking up to the sky and then down to her reflection in the pond with great sadness. She gets approached by an elderly man wearing a trench coat and hat, they began to talk.

Lady in Black – (While sobbing she asked a rhetorical question.) Why has this tragedy fallen upon me? For the first time in my life I felt as if I was on the right track.

Man in Hat- Hello miss I am sorry, but I happen to over here you’re sobbing and wanted to know if you were in need of assistance?

Lady in Black- No Sir I feel as if what troubles me cannot be help by anyone.

Man in Hat- Well miss if you do not mind I would like to sit along side you and feed the ducks as I usually do at this time and I would like it very much if you would keep me company.

Lady in Black- Please go ahead sir, my father and I usually feed the ducks but that was a long time ago when I was a little girl. I will only be here for a short while. I only hope my weeping dose not bother you.

Man in Hat- Oh my no, if you do not mind me asking what misfortune has brought you such sorrow?

Lady in Black – The greatest of tragedies has brought me so much pain and left me with emptiness in my heart.

Man in Hat- My dear such a tragedy warrants great empathy but none will be enough to come close to healing what has been lost. The best advice I can give you is to find solace in the fact that this experience has opened a new chapter in your life.

Lady in Black- A new chapter that I will walk alone with a huge void in me that no one can understand or fill. I am very fearful of this chapter and all the endeavors before me.

Man in hat- Well my dear take the Ducks for example they fear everything except when I throw the bread crumbs to them. They embrace me when they are receiving they love me; once I feel as if they had their fill they turn from me. They swim to the other side of the pond far from my reach, when I sit at another bench the fail to notice my presence unless I have something for them.

Lady in hat- they are but animals going by instinct they will always be ungrateful unless they are receiving good things.

Man in Hat- my point exactly unless they are getting good things from my hand they acknowledge me. But when I move to another bench and not feed them they tend to ignore me. They never seek to find me to receive their fill of bread crumbs.

Lady in Hat – I am sorry sir I fail to realize the point you are trying to make. I am in great pain and I am in need of soothing but I do not know where to go or to whom I should talk to.

Man in hat- My dear once again you have made my point exactly. You looked up to the sky and asked why? I am here to tell you that despite your lost you are not alone. Gather your strength take courage and move forward you have good things in stored for you to receive faithfully. Be strong Kiddo!

Scene- Once the Lady in the hat heard him say “kiddo” she looks up towards him and sees that he has simply vanished in to thin air. As a passer by walked towards the bench from the only path leading to the pond she asked did you see an elderly man wearing a Hat and trench coat. The passer shook her head and said “no one has crossed my path either going or coming except you”. She thought to herself that it is impossible for her to have imagined this for a short moment she felt a strange tingling run down her neck with a slight cool breeze to her face as if the wind was to kiss her cheek. She then looked at the time and she ran towards the church for the funeral of her father was about to start. When she arrived she meet up with her aunt who said “there is daddy’s little kiddo let us go and pay our respects to him”
